Text and Reply to Your Contacts Through the Command App with Twilio – KW Marketplace

Warning! The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), which includes the National Do Not Call Registry, imposes strict limits on how real estate agents make calls, send text messages and/or leave voicemails. The law requires that you check all Do Not Call registries before calling or texting, and honor requests to be placed on all Do Not Call lists. The law also may require callers to meet certain consent requirements before making a call or sending a text message using an auto-dialer, or using or a prerecorded/artificial voice. Agents must follow this law or face stiff penalties and/or potentially catastrophic legal damages for violations. Contact your attorney to determine if your practices conform to the TCPA.

In the Command App, users can contact their database by sending text messages sent from their mobile device's phone number and they can also send text messages from their mobile device using their Twilio number as well. In order for this happen they must first purchase a Twilio subscription in the KW Marketplace.

To text and reply to your contacts in the Command App with Twilio:

1. Log in to the Command App with your KW login credentials.

2. Tap the Contacts icon, , at the bottom of the screen.

3. Locate the desired contact. Next tap the text icon to the right of the desired contact. The contacts phone number(s) will appear. Tap the desired phone number underneath the Twilio option.

4. Type out your message. Add any files or images from your mobile device. When you're done, tap Next. The message will be sent as one text regardless of the character length however the credit cost will increase accordingly. On the next screen you will see how many credits will be used to send the message, your unique recipient count, and your credit available credit balance. Tap Send when ready.

Manage Responses

When a contact replies to a Twilio text, that will trigger a Command App notification as well as a Command desktop notification. In the Command App, tap the notification bell. On the next screen you will see the response from the client. If you tap View Details, you will be directed to that client's contact record timeline where you can see the message log.

If you tap the three dots in the client response, you will see options to mark the notification as read and also to add a task from that notification.
